The STEP X is the logical continuation of an entry-level EN-B such as the LEAF 3 or the LEAF 3 Light and gives all the cards in hand to prepare for a switch to EN-C.
Available from 3.8kg, the STEP X ranks among the semi-light wings.
If many pilots let themselves be convinced by the light products, some are still held back by the premature wear of the totally light wings. This is why the assembly of STEP X and its different materials is an ideal compromise. The parts of the wing likely to be stressed are reinforced with strong and durable fabrics while the less stressed areas benefit from light materials which allow a significant weight saving.
